The Original building and daily operations remained at that location until 2000. The property and building was sold to the City of Monterey and then demolished for their Window on the Bay project.Where the building and property once stood is now open space. It is now covered with lawn, walking paths, and various types of landscaping. One of the main reasons for selling to the City of Monterey was the promise by the City to keep the Del Monte corridor open space.\n\nAfter selling our property to the City of Monterey we moved to our new location at 1193 Tenth\nStreet in Monterey. With the help and encouragement from the City we were able to stay in business while our new location was being remodeled, and retro fitted. The move took about six months until we were able to officially re-open during Thanksgiving 2000.
