When I was 21, I worked for Budget Truck Rental. During that time, we had a lot of moving companies that would rent trucks from us. One day, the owner of one of our regular moving companies stopped by and asked me if I knew someone who could drive a truck to Denver, Colorado. I told him that I could and I actually had the time off. I drove one of the two trucks there and when it was time to unload them, I was taught how to use the equipment and lift correctly. I fell in love with traveling and the moving. From that point on, I continued to work for this company on my days off. Eventually, I started offering my customers help with loading, unloading and even driving their trucks for them cross-country. It was very satisfying to see how happy my customers were after I helped them.
