The Clean Connection Laundry opened in Montclair, NJ in 2009, transforming the smallest laundromat, into the largest wash and fold service in town. Within 12 months, the loads of love laundry gift program was born, providing free laundry services for Montclair's 200 homeless citizens. Relocating to Newark, NJ in 2012, the clean connection transformed itself into a high end professional laundry pickup service, providing home and workplace pickup to Essex County residents. Through a number of nonprofit partners and a partnership with Essex County, clean connection continued to offer laundry gift cards/vouchers to Newark's less fortunate residents. Plans are currently underway to build a super laundry service facility in the city of Newark.
