I am a solo operator who offers local moving, delivery, and general labor services. I strive to provide a stress free service experience. I work by myself with my clients to accomplish there moving and general labor goals. I will provide a 24ft Box Truck with tools and blankets. Rates are $65 for the first hour then $35 per hour for each additional hour. , , I also offer Junk removal and donation pickups. , Pricing varies between $50 for a individual item pick up and up $600 to fill my entire 24 ft box truck. Rent a friend labor service was started in 2004. It was started in an apartment by John. He only had a pickup truck and a borrowed 6 ft x 10 ft trailer. At the time he provided small delivery and handyman service. A few years later Rent A Friend grew and John was able to expand his equipment to include a 17 ft moving truck and provide full-service moving and relocation. Eventually, he was able to hire a few employees and upgrade his truck to a 24 ft moving truck. However, due to the nature of the industry, in 2017 he downsized to just himself again and is now offering small moving, delivery, junk removal, and general labor service. His plan for 2019 is to create specialized junk removal options for neighborhoods and communities.
