Noor Oriental Rugs Inc. was established by Mr. Mohammad Nooraee in 1979, bringing 300 years of family tradition, knowledge and appreciation of Oriental rugs to Cambridge, Massachusetts. With a dedication to both his craft and his customers, Mr. Nooraee has established himself as a master in his field, and Noor specializes in both rug sales and rug restoration.\n\nIn his entirely unique rug restoration and cleaning program, Mr. Nooraee draws on 443 techniques preserved from before the Bronze Age. Each step of the specialized process is done by hand, with sangpaa rocks and walnut extract used in the place of washing machines and artificial dye.
