Eco Movers was born out of a desire to change old, harmful moving practices with a fresh environmentally-friendly approach. We've grown into Seattle's premiere sustainable moving company! We provide a top-quality moving experience, and offer sustainable options to our great customers. We've saved over 40,000 cardboard boxes through our reusable moving box program, we have reusable wardrobe cartons and we repurpose leftover cardboard boxes. Make your move matter. Go Eco. Eco-Movers was created in 2009 with a specific mission: To reduce the waste created in the moving industry while providing our customers with an exceptionally high standard of customer service. As a college undergraduate at the University of Washington I studied Ecology and Conservation because I have always had a deep appreciation of the world around us and how plants and animals and us humans interact. Throughout my days at the University of Washington I worked for a few local moving companies to support myself. In each of my experiences with other companies I saw the same thing: excessive waste and poor customer service skills of my fellow coworkers. I knew there was a better way. After I had gained extensive experience in the restaurant industry managing four restaurants I decided it was time for me to start my own business, Eco-Movers.
