The idea for Bob started in 2016. Alex Martinek and his college roommates argued consistently about who cleaned what last. Often times the house never got cleaned. They hired a cleaning service eventually and split among all 4 of them it was cheap and eased a lot of tensions. About 80% of the work was done every other week. The only thing they needed to focus on was doing the dishes. \n\nWhy are more college aged kids not using this? Alex and one other roommate paid for the service themselves, but the other two roommates added it as a utilities bill and their parents helped pay for it. \n\nAlex thought, why isn't everyone using this? It's clearly a problem that needs to be solved.
