VioClean began with concern for Lewis, an Olde English Bulldog. Lewis was always getting ear infections and his owner, Trung Nguyen, a tax accountant for public accounting firms in New York and Boston, tried everything his veterinarian advised.\n\nWhen an infection blew out Lewis' ear drum and required surgery, Trung started thinking closely about what could be causing the dog's more than 4-year illness, and directed his attention to the most obvious environment--the floor beneath his feet, right where Lewis lays everyday.\n\nTrung's carpets have always been cleaned every four months, a practice he started when he began working for a carpet cleaning business while attending Bentley College. Around the same time as Lewis's surgery, Trung's children were born premature and are sensitive to odors, scents, and foods. This resulted in a search for alternative natural cleaning products that were effective and odor free.
