Welcome to Verlare Cleaners a full service drycleaner serving the Elmhurst community for over 35 years. We take great care in handling everything from regular dry cleaning and laundry to wedding gowns, households, leathers, suedes, and even rugs. We also have a staff of professional tailors to handle any alteration or repair you may have.\n\nPlease stop by and give us a try. We are conveniently located and have plenty of parking right in front. Easy in Easy out.... plus we offer pick up and delivery service to your home or office. Verlare Cleaners was established in 1961 by Richard Verlare, a 2nd generation drycleaner, originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. His first drycleaning plant was located in Franklin Park, Illinois and proved to be very successful. In 1974, he decided to branch out, opening a second location on York Road in Elmhurst. He operated out of a small house for the first few years, then later built a full service drycleaning facility at the current location, 104 W.
