John is a 3rd generation business owner in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Entrepreneurship is in John's blood. His grandparents Darwin & Betty Vance owned Idle Days and Gayla resort on the west side of the Grand Glaize bridge in the 70's. On John's dads side, the Thompson side his family owned Hardwood Originals a well known furniture store that was located right on Camdenton square by Ozark Land. John worked many trades before settling in on roofing for good.
