He hired Stephen Jaenchen, a 20 year veteran in 2001 to work as a lead technician and operations manager. In 2004, Stephen purchased Summit Carpet Care and merged it with his Carson Valley business, A Better Carpet Cleaner. In 2005, Stephen received his IICRC Master Textile certification, making him one of only a handful of such cleaners in Northern Nevada. In 2006, tile, grout and stone floor care services were added.
