Smooth Transitions South Sound provides Senior Move Management and concierge services to individuals, families and businesses by working with our clients to shoulder the emotional and physical burdens often associated with senior moving transitions. We offer services such as downsizing, sorting, pack & unpack, new home set up, disposal of unwanted items, community & hospital transitions, estate dispersal, home inventory and a whole lot more. We are just like having that extra daughter, local relative, friend or project manager that provides the personalized assistance you need before, during and after the transition from one home to another. In October 2002, 22 high-spirited individuals from 16 companies came together as strangers in Arlington, VA to discuss developing a professional association specifically designed for the senior move industry. That meeting resulted in the formation of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM).In 2017 Ruth Christian Launched Smooth Transitions South Sound after extensive training with Barbara Morris of KY, one of the 22 founding members of NASMM. Ruth selected the Smooth Transitions® brand and training established by Barbara for it's outstanding reputation, tenure and integrity within the Senior Move Management Industry. Morris has grown the licensee brand and it's senior move professionals into over 60 national locations and internationally in NZ.
