We do chimney cleaning and replace dampers and back walls....As of August 2019 we are the only chimney service who has flu liners!! Muddox ( est 1885) has discontinued making them, and none are available.We have about a two year supply, and then no one will be able to rebuild a damaged masonry fireplace!.... When I started Royal Chimney Service in 1986 the plan was to clean some chimneys with equipment borrowed from a friend. Up until the Loma Prietta earthquake my business plan seemed to work beyond my expectations, as my new found customers liked to recommend me.\nWith the event of the 89 quake, I began to work with a state licensed masonry contractor rebuilding damaged fireplaces. I continued this relationship for 8 years, and then was able to obtain my own C29 Masonry State License, 741664. .
