MAINTEX has been a leading chemical manufacturer and distributor of janitorial supplies and equipment in Southern California for more than 55 years. Providing high quality reliable products--competitively priced and delivered on time--is our mission. As a family-owned business, we take pride in our manufacturing and distribution management. Ralph Silverman was trained as a chemist and founded MAINTEX in 1960 in Southern California, after serving in the U.S. Air Corps in World War II and graduating from Indiana University. At it's inception, MAINTEX focused on serving numerous school districts, contract cleaning firms and municipalities. Over the years we have extended our reach into larger facilities as our product lines and clients have continued to grow. Today, our second generation, Stuart Silverman and Linda Silverman, are at the helm, advancing our founder's vision and continuing to expand the company's product lines, sales and distribution capabilities throughout Southern California.
