In 1988, Kathy came to the US from Europe (specifically from Poland) to experience the American way of life and the famous California weather. Having strong business sense, she had quickly found that this area offers excellent business potential for starting a business, and only after two years, Kathy became the owner of Irene's European House Cleaning Service. It was a financial decision not to change the name of the business to her own because marketing materials had already been prepared for the former owner Irene (her friend), and Kathy chose not to spend money on re-branding the company.\n\nKathy put her money into equipment, supplies and quality service and hasn't looked back. She worked for five years alone, learning the business inside out.
