We began our journey into stormwater contamination after the EPA began to enforce the NPDES regulations in the road/highway construction industry. After 15 1/2 years providing sweeping (EZ Sweep) and then milling cleanup (Milling Cleanup Services of Florida) to the paving industry we we were aware of how easily the storm drains could become contaminated if not protected. We trained our employees to be more aware of how they cleaned around the various types of storm drains then went in search of ways to assist our customers with a good protection system.\n\n​After much research and demonstrations of the large variety of products on the market we found the Basin Blocker bag to be the most universal and reusable for not only our paving contractors but construction contractors in general as well as municipalities. This product is locally manufactured in Florida which allows us the flexibility to offer our clients quick delivery and the manufacturer is always available and willing to discuss any modifications that may make the Basin Blocker bag even better.\n\nTeresa became a qualified Stormwater Management Inspector to increase our knowledge of the best BMP's for the customer's situation and offer our services with SWIPP and MS4 compliance .\n\nWe feel that Inlet Protection Services is another quality addition to our sweeping and milling cleanup services and look forward to working with you in the near future.
