Golan's opened its doors in 1990 as a small 3 man moving business servicing the Chicago land area. Through word of mouth the company grew and became too large for the 3 of them to support on their own. By 1995, their fleet had 5 trucks, a small Skokie office and warehouse, and a team to keep things running daily., , Continual growth eventually led to a major administrative facility and a warehouse with the capabilities of housing 1,000,000 cubic feet of storage space. In the last 3 years, the company has completed over 20,000 transactions.
