Always employing an environmentally friendly dry-cleaning solvent, the staff at Gilman's are experts in handling all garments especially fine beaded clothing including wedding gowns. Stain removal is our specialty. An on-site COLD fur storage vault keeps your furs safe during warm months. Bonded drivers pick-up and deliver within a 50-mile radius of Middletown. Also offered are shirt laundry, rug cleaning, shoe repair, tailoring, leather and suede cleaning. Current owner is Dan Hinton, who started as a driver for Gilman's. The previous owner was Marty Dulgatz and is third generation in the business. He is the grandson of the founder, Harry Gilman. Marty's parents preceded him until he entered the business in 1966. The current building was opened in 1948. It was built with a COLD Fur storage vault that is temperature and humidity controlled to protect furs.
