He needed extra money as he doubled his number of kids to 4 with twins in 1982. Working full time as a teacher at Villa Park H.S., he cleaned carpets to supplement his income. By 1995, he retired from teaching and went into business with his wife Carol; owning and operating Physical Therapy business' up and down the Orange County Coast. With his focus on this, the carpet cleaning took a back seat, and it is physically demanding. So the van and machine sat idle for a few years until Scott got his drivers license and graduated from High School. Scott did this part time while working full time in his parents P.T. business. By 2013, he quit working for his parents as his Carpet cleaning business began to grow. Owning and Operating ones own business in California is a difficult task; turning a decent profit requires many variables to line up right and a little luck. Scott continues to work on and in his business, learning as time goes.
