My name is James Scott and I am the owner of elevation Chimney services. I️ grew up in Clearwater florida, and attended Florida State university in Tallahassee Florida for college, when I was going to school I needed a college job. I looked around in stumbled on a chimney sweep company and applied for the job. I didn’t know at the time that I would be applying for my career, I worked for this guy for a couple months before I got certified by the chimney safety Institute of America. While I was working for him I saw this was a market that has been ran by the same company’s for many years, and felt all the companies charged too much for the service they provide and that they were taking advantage of the customers not knowing much about chimneys and quoting them high.
