By not using an extractor, my method is no less efficient. Although the extractor appears to be removing all the dirt in your carpets, it also leaves just as much water and dirt down under your carpet pad which can create mold, mildew, shrinkage, or rot. We use NO chemicals. The solution I use contains stain remover, deodorizer and \nsanitizer (which does not perfume your home, just kills any odor in your carpet). It is non-toxic and enzyme-based, making it safe for anyone with sensitivities, children, or animals. I have been in the carpet cleaning industry for nearly ten years and have truly fine-tuned my method during that time.
