We are a family owned, full service Eco-Friendly dry cleaner offering dry cleaning, shirt laundering, household items which includes everything from your home that you don't wear, and wedding dress cleaning and preservation. \n\nAdditionally, we offer FREE Pickup & Delivery Service and our concierge services will take care of your alterations, shoe repairs and leather & suede cleaning. Beginning with the cleaning process, we abandon the use of toxic solvents and employ the safe, non-toxic cleaning agent GreenEarth® Cleaning. \n\nYour clothes will be dry cleaned in GreenEarth, a gentle but remarkably effective and environmentally friendly dry cleaning solvent that is odorless, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, and gentle on your clothes. GereenEarth is a silicon solvent - basically it's liquid sand. GreenEarth is inert and won't fade colors, ensures that whites stays white, and softens as it cleans. No more will you worry about wearing toxic chemicals against your skin.\n\nFor our concierge services, we use only the best local contractors. Our alterations are done by Hill's Alterations on 4th Street and our shoe repairs by Wyatt and Dad on Country Club Rd.\n\nWe hope you will give Dry Cleaning Central a chance to earn your business. We opened our doors in 2005 as part of the franchise Dry Cleaning STATION. With an unsuccessful model, the franchise was eventually sold to Martinizing. We were given the opportunity to become an independent store and we took it. We renamed our business Dry Cleaning CENTRAL with all the same services including the use of our eco-friendly solvent, GreenEarth Cleaning.\n\nInitially, our drop store was located in Winston-Salem at 110 Oakwood Drive with our dry cleaning plant located in Kernersville. In 2012, we combined our plant and drop store by moving both to 133 Oakwood Drive in Winston-Salem. This enabled us to offer same day service and to have a drive-through, both huge enhancements to our business.\n\nWe began offering our FREE Pick-up and Delivery Service a few years after opening and we now service most of western & downtown Winston-Salem and parts of Clemmons/Lewisville.\n\nWe have always been a family owned business run by Julien, Bill and Gray Patton..
