Our experience in commercial office cleaning started many years ago while away at college. Two months after getting married we bought into the Vanguard Cleaning Franchise and were issued a cleaning franchise. The franchise was a success, and within months were were able able to provide jobs to 12 employees while also providing for our own new family. Upon graduating college we decided to cash in the business equity and sell our franchise we had built and try our hand in the big corporate world. We shortly found that we yearned to get back into small business. We now own Coastal Sewing Machines located 27 North Main St. in Old Saybrook, as well as owning and managing Connecticut Green Clean.
