Clinton Moving was founded in May of 1987 as a one truck operation , doing primarily local moves. It was operated from the back porch of it's founder and principal Carter Jackson. In January 1989 it was moved to a storefront at 1 Taylor Ave. Clinton , NY . In August of 1989 they moved to their present location , an 8,000 square foot government approved warehouse on Route 12B . For 19 years they were one of Global Van Lines top agents .In Jan 2008 they made a strategic change expanding their own brand and joining forces with Steven's Worldwide Van Lines . Clinton Moving provides transportation , warehousing , distribution and logistic services to individual families , local , national and international companies and the United States Government., They also provide custom packaging and shipping of shipments weighing 1000 lbs or less., Clinton Moving now employs over 30 transportation professionals . providing a unique combination of modern moving and old fashioned service .
