After graduating high school I needed money for college so I started a little cleaning business. I worked mostly in my own neighborhood and a few close surrounding neighborhoods. Within 10 years my “little cleaning business “ had grown into a fairly large company with residential and commercial accounts and it was all thanks to basic word of mouth. Back then there wasn’t any social media or apps like Yelp readily available yet so one neighbor, while chatting with another neighbor, would mention my work and recommend my services.
