Our aim is to run Chim-Chiminey as the type of service company we ourselves, as Westchester homeowners, would like to deal with. We are a family owned and operated complete service chimney sweeping, inspection, repair and restoration company. Operating since 1979, we serve only Westchester and Putnam counties. We provide Safety inspections and sweeping of all types of chimneys, fireplaces and stoves. We Repair & rebuild chimneys & fireplaces and repair & install dampers, caps, fans, etc. We are fully insured and licensed by Westchester County (#WC 3764-H91), Putnam County (#PC 1706) and City of Yonkers (#YK 1338). We are CSIA Certified and members of the National Chimney Sweep Guild Bill Perron became intrigued with the magical history and traditions of chimney sweeps in Europe and after researching problems with US chimneys, started up Chim-Chiminey in 1979. He became a CSIA Certified Sweep in 1992.
