Before the building was Caverna Fifty-Seven it was the 2 story home of the Fancoli's and their business. In the 1940's the property was Fancoli Trucking until it was transformed in the 1950's to Fancoli Firewood and Coal. Customers would travel from as far as Placerville. , , The owner of Caverna Fifty-Seven bought the home from the children who were raised here. After living in the home for almost 10 years, he decided to restore the building for commercial use. , , The former bedrooms and family rooms were transformed into six stylish executive suites, and the property was raised several feet to build a 200 locker capacity wine cellar in the basement level.
