Brightly cleaning cooperative is a joint effort of La Colmena Staten Island Community Job Center, the Center for Family Life and members of the community of Staten Island. All these actors came together to help the immigrant community overcome the barriers they face in creating their own economic opportunities in New York City.\n\nFor this purpose community members of Staten Island received training and technical assistance to establish and manage their cooperative business.
