Boston Carpet Cleaning is a division of Alec's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning LLC and has been cleaning carpets and upholstery in the greater Boston area since 1970. Alec has over 50 years of experience. That along with his knowledge and desire to be Bostons' best carpet cleaner has lead him to be Bostons' premere carpet cleaning company. Alec offers not only cleaning of upholstery and wall to wall carpet but also cleans oriental rugs as well as any custom made rug . The cleaning of many area rugs are done in Alec's state of the art cleaning plant located in Abington, Ma. Alec also deals with most of Bosons' top interior designers and provides both a fabric protection treatment and a carpeet protective tretment that is unmatched for it's ability to prevent stains from soiling and spills on both carpets and upholstery. Alec started in the carpet cleaning industry at the age of 13. He worked all through high school performing and learning the trade. In college, Alec started his own company in 1970 at the age of 21. While in college and studying chemistry, Alec spent a lot of his attention on the latest fibers manufactured at that time to truly learn the best ways to clean and maintain them. At the age of 25, Alec had close to 100 employees and had carpet cleaning contracts with every major hotel in Boston as well as many corporate contracts throughout New England. After over 20 years of providing carpet cleaning to commercial and business properties Alec decided to redirect his focus on residential clients, leading his business to being operated during more normal business hours and allowing him to develop the type of business that really focused on quality of workmanship. Alec soon stopped all corporate work, down sized his business and currently has over 7000 residential clients in the Boston area.
