Barry Blake created Blake & Sons Moving & Storage in 1990 with the intention of leaving it to one of his sons when he retired. However, when the time came, neither of Barry's sons were up to the task. , , Tom Shioutakon was only 21 at the time, however, he had experience and in the moving and storage business. Tom met with Barry and purchased Blake & Sons. Barry asked Tom to maintain the high quality of service he had provided customers and to continue the focus on the family. Keeping his promise, Tom hired his sisters Shannon and Sharon to help him coordinate moves and work with clients one-on-one. , , Today Blake & Sons has expanded exponentially and relocates families, businesses and corporations all over the east coast.
