He started his 1st business in 1986 with one truck in Toledo, OH. In 1989, the business moved to Northern Virginia and quickly became a popular local moving firm. , , The business initially focused on small to medium sized moving jobs. In 1995, the business relocated to Sterling, Virginia and quickly expanded to a small fleet of 10 trucks. It was one of the first moving companies in the Washington DC area to have a website. In 2002, it purchased a warehouse facility and expanded its sales force and established a regional marketing presence. It expanded its menu of services to intrastate, interstate and military moving. The fleet grew to 30 trucks, 100 movers and seven locations. 2GT was sold in Feb, 2011.
