Coming from a family of small business owners, Jim grew up always knowing he wanted to start his own business. He has always liked working with people and is a very service-oriented individual. Jim went to a trade show in Los Angeles and found Rug Doctor Pro and being a part of a service industry to be very attractive. Jim quickly realized that most carpet cleaning companies were not providing good service and did not seem to know a whole lot about cleaning either. That is when he decided that he wanted to start a carpet cleaning business that was run with integrity, honesty and professional attention.\n\nJim immersed himself in education. Studying cleaning magazines, manuals and taking certification classes with the IICRC, he learned everything that he could about carpet and fabric cleaning.
